Das Kino des Lebens is a visual and sonic postcard sent from Essen. Not a postcard seeking to showcase a city’s landmarks or iconic places, but one made of fragments: faces, voices, streets, sounds, movements, moments of waiting, objects, light and glimpses of everyday life.
Exhibition organised in partnership with Diaphane, a photography centre, and the Franco-German Cultural Centre of Essen.
EXHIBITION — STELLA, PHOTO TRAIL, STELLA-PLAGE

To celebrate the success of the crowdfunding campaign launched in June, I decided to organise an exhibition along the Stella-Plage promenade, giving residents and holidaymakers the opportunity to discover a selection of images ahead of the publication of Stella, the book to be released by Four Eyes Éditions in November.
SCREENING — NUIT DE L’ANNÉE, RENCONTRES DE LA PHOTOGRAPHIE, ARLES

The edit of Stella, combining photographs and film, was screened during Nuit de l’Année and selected for inclusion in the festival programme. It will remain on view at the former Collège Mistral until 4 October.
The film will also be presented at the Nuit de la Photographie, organised by Centrum Fotografii / Muzeum Warszawy, in Warsaw on 4 September, and at MAC, Maison des Arts, a national arts venue in Créteil (France), from 19 September to 19 December 2026, as part of 200LUX EXPO, a group exhibition featuring members of the LUX network.

Preview marks the opening of my Franco-German artist residency, organised in partnership with the Institut français, Folkwang Universität der Künste (Photography Department) and Diaphane, a photography centre based in Clermont-de-l’Oise, France.
